TOP 100 award: Ranga Yogeshwar honours Wiha's innovative strength
Schonach, 30 June 2025 - Congratulations to the hotbed of innovation: Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar congratulated Wiha Werkzeuge GmbH at the TOP 100 competition awards ceremony in Mainz on 27 June. The award honours medium-sized companies that stand out for their particular innovative strength. Wiha was included in the ranks of the top innovators for the fourth time - this time with special recognition in the category of innovation-focused leadership. Mario Sommer, Managing Director Marketing & Sales, and Imme Buchholz, Head of the Wiha Training Academy Sales, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
Success through freedom of ideas
"We see it as a key management task to promote change and create space for further development," explains Mario Sommer. "Our aim is to create a culture that encourages people to contribute their own ideas, to boldly try out new things and to push boundaries with creativity and expertise." The award is just one reflection of how effectively this mindset works: "We rely on high-performance teams, short decision-making processes and close dialogue with our community in the market. This interaction makes us fast, adaptable and produces practical solutions - innovations that offer our users real added value."
Shaping the future together
Wiha creates solutions that simplify day-to-day tasks, make work safer and deliver lasting impact – thanks to durable products, ergonomic design and well-thought-out system concepts. But for Wiha, innovation means more than just new technology: it's about moving forward together, involving everyone – manufacturers, suppliers, retailers and skilled workers alike. "Our goal is clear: in 20 years' time, we want to be regarded as a benchmark in our industry - not only because of our products, but also because we take responsibility, help shape the future and act with foresight," says Sommer. "Anyone who wants to combine efficiency, sustainability and humanity will find a real partner in Wiha."
The award ceremony in Mainz provided an impressive setting for this - a moment of recognition that encourages the entire team to continue pursuing the innovation path they have embraced with passion and vision.
