Wiha CEO Wilhelm Hahn nominated as a finalist for the 'EY Entrepreneur Of The Year' award 2024
Wilhelm Hahn, managing partner of the Black Forest hand tool manufacturer Wiha, is one of the 20 finalists in the renowned "EY Entrepreneur Of The Year" competition 2024.
The award honors entrepreneurial personalities who take on responsibility in economically challenging times, recognize opportunities and use their commitment to transform them into sustainable success.With visionary thinking and practical expertise, they manage to steer their company through globally turbulent conditions while at the same time keeping an eye on the social and ecological challenges of the future.Hahn received the official finalist certificate, a trophy and a present from representatives of EY and LGT Bank in Schonach earlier this week.
This year's award winners will be announced on November 7, 2024 at the Motorwerk in Berlin.
The winners are selected by a high-caliber jury based on four criteria: entrepreneurship, corporate purpose and vision, growth potential and social responsibility.
The award is given in the categories of family business, innovation, sustainability and young companies.

The “EY Entrepreneur Of The Year” competition is one of the world's most prestigious awards and is awarded in around 60 countries. In Germany, the competition is being held for the 28th time and is supported by partners and media such as LGT, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and manager magazin.
