Wiha is winner of this year’s iF DESIGN AWARD, the world-renowned design prize. The winning product, the Wiha Pliers Wrench Family, won in the discipline “Product”, in the “Industry/Tools”. Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD.

There was much cause for celebration in Schonach, Germany, when actually two products of hand tool manufacturer Wiha won the German Design Award 2022 in the category “Excellent Product Design / Workshop and Tools”.
The award of the Ergonomie Kompetenz Netzwerk (ergonomics competence network – ECN) is awarded only twice annually. This year, the award in the category "manually operated products" was granted to the hand tool manufacturer Wiha Werkzeuge and its product "speedE® II electric e-screwdriver". The award ceremony took place in late September at the Dornier Museum in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
