Users in trade and industry are getting reinforcement: another design for the first e-screwdriver speedE® driven by hybrid technology from Wiha. This tool has been created for the typical fields of activity for industrial applications. The new speedE® Industrial with compact set contents is now compatible with all standard bits. It can be used for all tasks where screws can be fastened with conventional screwdrivers, making things far easier for users: areas of use include machining, industrial maintenance and assembly, motorised equipment maintenance and repair, work on white goods, heating, air-conditioning and plumbing installations, and bicycle and motorcycle repairs. In principle, the speedE® Industrial can be used on all threaded screw joints.
This new e-screwdriver is surprisingly easy to handle. It can be used with numerous different screw profiles worldwide when combined with the speedE® Industrial bit holder and all standard bits (1/4” 6.3 mm). Electrically driven, the speedE® Industrial completes otherwise time-consuming, energy-sapping screw fastening tasks. All the user needs to do is simply rotate their fingers slightly on the ergonomic handle. It stops as soon as the user releases the handle or when fastening reaches 0.4 Nm. The screw can then be fixed by hand with a deft touch. An electric ratchet function eliminates the need for constant gripping during screw fastening, providing the user with extra assistance. The simple speedE® function combination comprising of first electrical fastening, second material protection and third manual fixing is considered unique worldwide.
The speedE® Industrial is comparable with normal screwdrivers in terms of size and weight. The integrated LED light shines on the screw and component that the user is working on. The speedE® Industrial also improves efficiency significantly since it turns screws twice as fast as conventional means. The finely adjusted power transmission during automated screw fastening provides added protection for users and material during sensitive fastenings.
Doctors and therapists at German Campaign for Healthier Backs recommend both the speedE® Industrial for holding standard bits and the speedE® electric with slimBits insulation-protected up to 1,000 V AC. Significant effort can be saved with both designs. They reduce strain on joints, tendons and muscles significantly, thus protecting health. This prevents the risk of heavy strain on forearm muscles due to frequent, monotonous turning movements and constant gripping during manual screw fastening.
Besides the e-screwdriver handle speedE® Industrial, the set contains a speedE® Industrial bit holder, a 50 mm TORX® T20 bit, a standard 18500 rechargeable battery and a suitable USB charger for the battery.
