Screw profiles
Screws are the most commonly used fastening technology. In contrast to other connection techniques, such as welding or gluing, screw connections can be detached without damage. Power transmission to the screw takes place through positive connection. For this reason, every screw needs the right matching piece in the form of a screwdriver, L-key or bit.
The “classic” slotted, Phillips and Pozidriv profiles are widely used, in addition to the newer TORX® and TORX PLUS® profiles. There are countless other profiles.
