The multifunctional flashlight from Wiha has gone from strength to strength since its market launch a few years ago. Following up on this success, Wiha is now presenting four additional work light solutions based on the same concept of maximising the benefits with a compact size. Where dark work environments could otherwise hamper the work of professionals, the following solutions throw light on the matter, even if no electricity is available: rechargeable floodlight, two handlamps, and a headlamp. Each is a convincing solution in its own right, due to adjustable luminance levels or different light modes. Depending on the version, practical attachment options and ingenious functional refinements ensure easy and efficient use. A magnetic mount and a 360° rotating suspension hook on the floodlight, dimming function and sensor-based on and off switching of the handlamps or headlamps are just a few of the special features. Each product is impact resistant and splash water protected, which makes them reliable rugged everyday companions on construction sites or similar work environments.
The compact Wiha rechargeable floodlight with 3,000 lm is designed for wide-area illumination. It features a powerful COB LED that can be set to three different brightness levels at the press of a button. A powerful magnetic mount on the machine foot and a 360° rotating hook for suspending the floodlight ensure flexible attachment options. It provides light for up to 13 hours. An integrated charge status and remaining capacity display prevents unexpected downtimes, while optimal use of the rechargeable battery is guaranteed by the efficient illumination control. During the charging process, the floodlight can continue to be operated with at least 80% of its luminance at the highest illumination level.
The handlamp with 1200 lm and On/Off sensor offers powerful front illumination. The combination of COB LED and integrated SMD LED on the top enables four illumination modes to be selected at the push of a button. The practical dimming function allows the brightness to be infinitely adjusted to the surroundings with a long press. Depending on the work requirements, this offers various illumination options according to the individual needs or wishes. A special extra feature and innovative characteristic of the handlamp is the integrated sensor that automatically controls switching it on and off. If the lamp is put down or the sensor is covered, it automatically switches off and switches back on when it is picked up again. This ensures not only efficient, but also energy-saving working. The handlamp can be attached to various locations thanks to two powerful magnets on the back and underside as well as a belt clip. It provides light for up to 10 hours.
The handlamp with 800 lm offers surprisingly powerful luminance in its handy miniature format. The COB LED can be set to 60, 100, 500 or, in the boost mode, 800 lm with the push-button control. In addition, the top side contains an SMD LED with 150 lm. Thanks to this wide range of setting options, users have a wide range of options available to meet their work requirements. Due to its minimalist design, it is light and compact enough carry in every shirt or pants pocket and is ideal for working in confined spaces, for example. Two powerful magnets on the rear and underside together with a belt clip allow attachment of the lamp while keeping your hands free. It provides light for up to 11 hours.
The headlamp with 500 lm and motion sensor provides a brightly lit field of vision. It also offers different modes with two "light colours". For illuminating dark work settings, the daylight white of the SMD LED with 6500 K that can be set to 140 or 350 lm offers the best visibility. However, if individual colours must be detected and distinguished particularly well, for example when working in switching cabinets with different coloured wires, the neutral white mode of the COB LED with 4000 K offers ideal support. It can also be set to 140 lm or 350 lm. Combined, both LEDs provide 500 lm. Here also, the dimming function that allows the luminance of all light sources to be infinitely adjusted to the surroundings with a long press ensures maximum flexibility and efficiency. A special functional feature and noticeable application advantage is the installed motion sensor that allows non-contact on/off switching of the handlamp. If the user is wearing work gloves for example, this can be a decisive advantage. It provides light for up to 10 hours.
All work lights also include a standard USB cable type C with which they can be recharged. The new Wiha work lights are now commercially available. More information is available here.
