Combined with the insulated ratchet wrench or T-handle adapter, the insulated extension enables easy access to deep-set screws and bolts. The insulated extension is subject to individual piece testing as per the international IEC 60900 standard, thus ensuring safe work on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.

Our Wiha ElectricVario Family, in short EVF, includes a large number of insulated fastening tools that offer unlimited combination and extension options for all types of challenges and fastening tasks. The slimBits

In conventional VDE screwdrivers the blade diameter is often too large to reach low-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises the user's safety. With our slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade, thus allowing blades which are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screws and spring elements can also be easily reached with the slimBits.
