Sustainable production

in screwdriver manufacturing

For us, the inner core counts! As one of the first hand tool manufacturers, we have been using a principle in screwdriver production for many years that significantly reduces the amount of new plastic:

We recycle the regranulate material waste that arises during the injection molding process and return it to the production process. We also buy recycled material so that the first, inner injection can be made entirely without new material.

Reduction of new plastic material

Black Forest residents like to save money - especially when it comes to around 82.5 tons* of new plastic (PP)!

*Annual result 2022 compared to 2021.

The amount of polypropylene plastic (PP) saved is roughly equivalent to the amount of 3 million plastic bottles.

Reduction in CO2 emissions

And what does the CO2 balance say about that? They have to tighten their belts with around 200 tons less per year!*.

This CO2 reduction corresponds to the "work" of around 8,000 trees / year.

In 2022, our concept of recycling plastic waste in screwdriver production was recognized as an "example of excellence" for resource-efficient measures.
