Product description

The easyTorque adapter provides controlled screw tightening combined with safe work practices for electric applications. This torque adapter with an accuracy of ±10% guarantees process-safe use, thus safeguarding against material damage and eliminating the need for refinishing. Compatible with all slimVario products, the insulated easyTorque adapter made of metal also ensures a secure hold for 75 mm slimBits. The handy adapter thus transforms the slimVario® screwdriver with bit holder, the slimVario® Stubby electric and the LiftUp electric screwdriver with bit magazine into a torque tool in next to no time (bit holder and blades are not included in the delivery contents). A click signal can be heard and the yellow ring and red adapter seen rotating in opposite directions when the torque is reached. The easyTorque torque adapter undergoes routine testing as per the international IEC 60900 standard, allowing users to work safely on live parts up to 1,000 V AC.

The Wiha ElectricVario family

Our Wiha ElectricVario Family, in short EVF, includes a large number of insulated fastening tools that offer unlimited combination and extension options for all types of challenges and fastening tasks. The all-round insulated system offers high compatibility and thus significantly facilitates the daily work load. The option to randomly combine the individual EVF tools allows you to put together a suitable and individual tool set within seconds.

The slimBits

In conventional VDE screwdrivers the blade diameter is often too large to reach low-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises the user's safety. With our slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade, thus allowing blades which are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screws and spring elements can also be easily reached with the slimBits.
