Tradesmen require short, handy screwdrivers for electrical work in cramped work environments. This often means the handle is shortened or electricians work with non-insulated screwdrivers, thus compromising their own safety. Wiha offers the optimal problem solution for such cases in its insulated Stubby short screwdriver. Thanks to the overall length of just 105 mm, it is perfect for working in confined spaces. The short screwdriver is also fully compatible with slimBits, meaning the whole range of screw profiles are covered. Protective insulation has been integrated into the blade with the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, thus ensuring blades which are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screw and spring elements can also be easily reached. The Stubby handle and slimBits undergo routine individual piece testing as per the international IEC 60900 standard, as a result* providing users with a tool to work safely on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. The 75 mm slimBits are compatible with all products in the Wiha ElectricVario family.

Our Wiha ElectricVario Family, in short EVF, includes a large number of insulated fastening tools that offer unlimited combination and extension options for all types of challenges and fastening tasks. The all-round insulated system offers high compatibility and thus significantly facilitates the daily work load. The slimBits

In conventional VDE screwdrivers the blade diameter is often too large to reach low-lying screws. However, removing the insulation is not permitted and also compromises the user's safety. With our slimTECHNOLOGY specially developed for electric applications, the protective insulation has been integrated into the blade, thus allowing blades which are up to 33% slimmer. This means low-lying screws and spring elements can also be easily reached with the slimBits.
